you need to cancel with your old card…
you need to cancel with your old card company yourself ! RMS does not do that for you! You need to cancel your contract in advance when near the end,and cancel for the end of it,thats if you want to get out of the contract, but good thing about your contract is your charges stays the same and cannot rise. so just everyone be aware of what you need to do or ring and ask and no point in giving out because you broke contract , its actually cheaper to pay your monthly fee if your business was closing down then cancel before your contract ends. Knowledge is power in my books,knowing what you can and can't do.Ask questions before you do things is best,some people don't seem to be sure of how a contract works so I hope this helps! And there is also a 1.5 year contract also that i was offered but I went with the 3 year contract as I was happy with the deal I got after finding out what other card companies were charging. I spoke to Jade Robinson-Smith over the phone after receiving my new ingenico card machine to get it set up as I did not know how to! I have to say this lady was so helpful and knew her stuff! I was up and running in no time at all and explained how to work the machine and she was very pleasant and patient . She also said to call back anytime or email if I needed help at anytime! C/card terminal problem
Recently experienced a problem with my C/card terminal . RMS answered within 5 minutes , a very pleasant young lady , Isobelle Brice , did her best to help but the new Terminal was not compatible with my equipment albeit Izzy did her level best to resolve the problem .. Superb service and friendly technical staff
We've had our machine for nearly 5 years now and have rarely had to speak with anyone about it as it is very reliable and the processing is very prompt. When major updates are required the staff make contact at a convenient time and are very quick and helpful. Recently we've moved premises and had our details updated on the receipts, Cara was very helpful throughout. Today the contactless appeared not to be working so we have just rung them, Chantelle quickly checked through our system and fired off an update - everything sorted within 5 minutes and no loss of business. It must be about time for a rate review though :-)
